Grandbabies!

Eisley is our newest grandaughter and we love her. All went well and My trip was great! I am going to put pictures on in no particular order, but I will tell you all about them now. Kendra kept me busy the three weeks I was at her house. I made a beautiful blessing dress that is one of the pictures. Kendra painted Eisleys room with dinosours that is wonderful. I painted baseboards and sewed curtains.Kennady and Kortney had birthdays while I was there too. The two dinosaurs that are helping blow out the candles with Kennady are Bob and Lizzy. Kennady started calling her dad Bob. Her dad did not think it was too funny, but Kennady and I did. My time there was great and too short. I really miss my girls and their girls! I have super son-in-laws too! The End!
P.S. Dustin is doing great on his mission! check out his blog that I post his letters on!

California Trip!

The trip was awsome!!
Last Thursday I flew out to California to meet up with Kortney, Kennady and Ben for a fast paced weekend at Disneyland. We met Mickey Mouse! And we sat in the teacup!
And we got to meet Tinkerbell!!! Kennady was so excited!

We then went on "It's a small world" ride.

Roger Rabbit was a bit scarey, But Kennady was very brave! (I love the look on her face!)

Then we saw Goofy!
Kennady had lots of fun...

She really enjoyed the Jungle boat ride.

The next day we went to the beach..
It was cool and breezy and the water was Really cold!

Kennady really liked the seal at Seal Beach.
Then we went to the Aquarium in Long Beach.
We saw the Rays! And got to pet them!!
The fake Beach picture!
Then we drove and saw the Los Angeles Temple. This is where my parents were sealed and I was sealed to them.
We drove a "Cube" around while we were there.
We then headed over to Cousin Rory's House for Movie night in the back yard.

Good time had by all! Then back to home on Sunday. It was a super fun weekend!!

Dustin is a Missionary!!!

The day has finally arrived. Dustin has gone on his mission! He is serving a two year mission in Samara Russia mission. He is currently in the MTC for 12 weeks or so. I will post his address at the end of this blog. We have had a very busy few weeks getting all things ready. Kortney and Kennady came for a 2 week visit and have had the opportunity to spend some time with Dustin before he left.
Wednesday July 28th we arrived at the Springfield airport REALLY early. Dustin has been so busy the past few weeks getting in as much civilian life in that he has not had much sleep. It shows in this picture. One of the things that Dustin has been up to before he left was this... Ya- that is going to leave a mark! We went canoeing on the Eleven Point River a couple of weeks ago and there was a rope swing and Dustin managed to hang himself by his ankle. He later jumped off a wall into the water and hit his shin on a rock and put a pretty good hole in the same leg as this rope burn.Dustin has also been busy giving Moped rides out! This is on the way to the lake. Kortney got a turn. We are really enjoying the Moped. I sometimes ride it to work and really like it on nice weather days. Not so much on rainy days! Deigo got a ride!!
And so did Ava! And now time for the cute kid pictures! Grandma just follows Kennady around with a camera anytime she is around and sometimes I get some really cute ones. This is what I get when I tell her to smile!Does she look ornery or what!!!?She still loves to go to the Lake for a swim with her mom.Next week She and her mother head home and I will experience the "empty nest". Sad day for me. :(Dustin's MTC address is:
